Refunds will be issued in full by the method payment was received on inspections that are cancelled in writing two (2) business days or more in advance of the scheduled inspection date.
Cancellations notices received in writing within two (2) business days of the scheduled inspection date shall not be made in money, rather, the client shall be issued a full credit towards a future inspection on a comparable size property to be identified by the Client thereafter. The Client shall be responsible for any increases to the inspection fee should the other property designated be larger than the original.
Scope of Inspection
Inspector will conduct a non-evasive, visual inspection of the property. The inspector shall perform all duties in accordance with the Nachi Standards of Practice and the State of Nevada Inspector of Structures STANDARDS OF PRACTICE. The inspector shall follow all standards as adopted by the State of Nevada incorporated in NAC: CHAPTER 645D - INSPECTORS OF STRUCTURES.
General Home Inspection
The property inspection is not a code inspection, title examination, nor a By-law compliance inspection. Pursuant to the Nevada Administrative Code, the Inspector may not offer an opinion as to the advisability or inadvisability of the purchase of the property, its value or potential use.
If the Inspector is called upon to prepare for litigation on behalf of the Client or give testimony because of the inspection, additional fees shall be charged at a rate of $85.00 per hour, plus IRS allowable mileage rate, and incurred expenses
